'The wounded young warrior' |Character Study [With coloring tutorial]

This is a color study of one of my beloved female characters. Is a step by step color skin tone tutorial, I followed the process used by Cuong Nguyen in one of his videos [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xl_11uggUDc].

[01] Lineart: We start with a red line art over a dark grey background color. The line art brush should have a 50-60 of opacity. For this Character I am using Saoirse Ronan as reference :D

[2] The skin color goes first, we start with the light, which eill go under the green tone and choosen skin color. It will help to define shadows as well. I am using a circular brush with 0 hardening and 50 opacity.

[3] Start with the green color, but be careful not to cover the white color as well, not to erase the light zones. The green will go all over the skin, with the hair free of it. The brush is the same used in the light process.

[4] Green color + Light yellow with 50% opacity and a circular brush. The light yellow will be focused in the lighted parts of the skin, also with 50% of opacity.

[5] we add the third color (light orange) which will define the natural blood irrigation under the skin; cheeks, nose and jaw, using a smaller circular brush with 0% hardening and 50% opacity.

[6] Light brown color for the shadows (under cheekbones, lips, eyes, nose, and where the light doesn't touch), continue using light yellow for light contrast.

[7] Dark red + dark brown; DB for dark shadows and contrast to highlight the face structure. Dark red and dark brown to define other details, like wounds, bruisies and blood.

[8] You can start at this point defining the hair (and eyebrows) with the colors of your choice. Also the eyes and adding more contrast to the skin tone + wounds.

[9] Defining both the eye contrast (lights and shadows) and blending the color tones, and changing the line art option from "normal" to "soft light".

[10] One of the skin layers should be changed to "soft light" as well, and use more blending and dark shadows, alternating between soft and hard brushes.

[11] Almost done, light colors (yellow and orange) and hard brushes for the hair. Warm lights and more blending to fix shadows in face. Also Hard brushing for the clothes.
